I strongly believe a sheriff should not only have law enforcement training and experience; but higher education to effectively make strategic and responsible decisions to the evolving changes in the community and within law enforcement.
Education and Training Background
- I attended the Federal Law Enforcement Basic Academy in Marana, Arizona
- Received my state certification after attending the New Mexico Law Enforcement academy in Santa Fe.
- I have completed over 1,500 hours of training in a multitude of law enforcement subjects.
- I have an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
- I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Managment.
- I have a second Associate’s Degree in Gunsmithing.
